Healthstar Physicians Premier Medical Expands to Sevierville
This month we are excited to announce Healthstar Physicians Premier Medical’s expansion to Sevierville! Our team is taking over an established practice to continue to serve patients in the area.
Where is our new office?
The medical office formerly known as Summit Medical Group will now be operating under a new name with the same familiar faces. Patients will continue to find medical services at 1124 Fox Meadows Blvd. #3 in Sevierville, TN. For patients, the biggest change is going to be the sign on the building.
Meet our team
Patients have grown to know and love Family Nurse Practitioner Lora Spurlock at this location over the years. She provides consistent medical care and has an excellent bedside manner. She will be seeing patients and providing care under Dr. Catherine Spiker at this office.
Lora earned both her bachelor and master degrees in nursing from East Tennessee State University. Those degrees have served her in multiple roles as she has treated patients in both pediatric and adult medicine. In addition to her work in the Healthstar Physicians Premier Medical Sevierville office where she works in a family medicine capacity, Lora also currently serves as the Medical Director for Sevier County Juvenile Facility.
Family Nurse Practitioner Marilyn Justice will also be joining the team in October. She earned her bachelor and master degrees from King University and has experience in family medicine, dialysis, and critical care. Her experience makes her a strong asset in diagnosis and continued patient care.
“We are excited to open this new office in Sevierville and serve this patient base,” said Dr. Spiker. “Lora is such a kind and compassionate nurse practitioner. Patients love her at this location so we knew she had to be a part of our team with the reopening of this office. Adding Marilyn to the team is going to be quite a treat for patients as they get to know her. These ladies will make a great team.”

Healthstar Physicians Premier Medical is an established medical team in Newport, TN with two offices. The osteopathic medicine team focuses on the unity of body systems rather than just symptoms. A doctor of osteopathy reviews all factors including lifestyle and environment to provide a personalized treatment plan. They provide preventative care, treat chronic conditions, and acute and urgent care for their patients. The team includes a talented staff that provides more than osteopathic medicine including: family medicine, obesity medicine, and podiatry.
