Catherine is a board-certified Family Physician who was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. She attended Birmingham Southern College for undergraduate where she played Division 1 soccer before pursuing a career in medicine. She completed medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine Georgia Campus and residency at St. Vincent Family Medicine Residency in Jacksonville, Florida. During medical school, she met her husband Dr. Raj Harricharan Singh.
Dr. Spiker has been practicing since 2015. Recently Dr. Raj and Dr. Spiker opened their own branch of Healthstar Physicians in Newport and they continue to serve the area with up-to-date medical care.
Dr. Spiker has a special interest in chronic disease management through osteopathy including diabetes, COPD, coronary artery disease, heart failure; women’s health; preventative care; and pediatric care. She also performs osteopathic manipulation. In her free time, Dr. Spiker enjoys hiking, gardening, watching football, visiting family, and spending time with her son and daughter.
Dr. Spiker is board certified in Family Medicine by the American College of Osteopathic Family Medicine.
Raj is a board-certified Family Physician. He was born in Puerto Rico, but moved to Parrottsville, TN when he was six years old. He attended ETSU for undergraduate studies. He pursued his medical studies at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine Georgia Campus and residency at Floyd Family Medicine Residency in Rome, Georgia. During medical school, he met his wife, Dr. Catherine Spiker.
Dr. Singh has been practicing since 2015 at HealthStar Physicians in Newport, Tennessee. Recently Dr. Singh and Dr. Spiker opened their own branch of HealthStar Physicians in Newport so they continue to serve the area with up-to-date medical care through osteopathy.
Dr. Singh treats all medical conditions throughout all age groups. He has a special interest in musculoskeletal injuries, obesity medicine, and diabetes. He also performs osteopathic manipulation. In his spare time, Dr. Singh enjoys running, working out, cooking, gardening, and spending time with his son and daughter.
Dr. Singh is board-certified in Family Medicine by the American College of Osteopathic Family Medicine.
Russian born Aleksandr, has lived in the United States since he was 13 years old. He initially started his career in engineering and then returned to school to pursue a career in the medical field by attending Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami, Florida. He went on to complete a residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center with a focus on limb salvage at a level 1 trauma center. Dr. Vinogradov also served with the United States Army for 14 years as a combat engineer and infantryman.
Dr. Vinogradov is board qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and specializes in deformity correction, revision surgeries, and diabetic limb salvage. His passion lies in helping his patients regain their quality of life by getting them back on their feet.

Dr. Kabir Harricharan Singh is board-certified in both Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine. He was born in Puerto Rico but moved to Parrottsville, TN when he was eight. After graduating from Cocke County High School, he attended ETSU for undergraduate studies before taking a year off to hike the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine. Dr. Harricharan Singh then attended The University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine for medical school and completed his Family Medicine Residency at The University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN. In 2022, he was awarded the Degree of Fellow by the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP).
Dr. Harricharan Singh has been practicing medicine since 2015 and treats all medical conditions with a special interest in obesity medicine and preventative medicine. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, nature, comedy, and spending time with his wife and Great Pyrenees.
Family Nurse Practitioner Marilyn Justice joined the Healthstar family in 2023 with nearly 10 years of experience in nursing. She has a background in ICU and dialysis and has served in Nephrology as a Nurse Practitioner. Prior to joining Healthstar, she practiced in a Primary Care office in Sevierville. Marilyn is passionate about educating patients and helping them understand their health.
Lindsay Brown Henderson, FNP-C is a family nurse practitioner that was born and raised in Cocke County, Tennessee. She completed undergraduate studies at East Tennessee State University receiving a Bachelors in Nursing in 2008. Lindsay worked at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee as a Neuro/Trauma ICU nurse while continuing her education at ETSU, earning her Master’s in 2009.
Lindsay worked as a hospitalist nurse practitioner in Newport, TN for one year before beginning her career in outpatient family medicine. Lindsay spent 8 years at another medical practice before joining the Healthstar Premier team in 2020.
Lindsay is married to her wonderful husband Josh and they have two children. Lindsay has special interests in pediatrics and PCOS, as well as in preventive medicine for all age groups.
In her free time, Lindsay enjoys playing with her children, attending concerts, and cooking.
Kim was born and raised in Gadsden, Alabama. She completed her diploma in Nursing degree as an RN in 1985 at the Holy Name of Jesus Hospital School of Nursing in Gadsden. In 1989, Kim moved to Huntsville, Alabama to pursue her higher education. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 1990 and her Master of Science degree as an FNP in 1993.
While pursuing her undergraduate and graduate education she worked for 4 years in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at Huntsville Hospital taking care of patients in the immediate recovery period from all types of open-heart surgery. Since 1994, Kim had worked as an FNP at another Newport, TN medical practice prior to joining HealthStar Physicians Premier Medical in November 2020 where she provided comprehensive primary care to multiple generations of patients.
She has a special interest in cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and pulmonary disease.
Kim loves poetry and sunsets. In her spare time, Kim enjoys boating and reading.
Kristin was born in Knoxville, Tennessee. She completed her Associates of Applied Science at Walters State Community College in 2013. She worked as an RN at Jefferson Memorial Hospital on the Medical Surgical floor taking care of adult and geriatric patients with numerous types of healthcare needs including acute and chronic conditions.
Kristin continued her education at Carson Newman University and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2016. While continuing to work at Jefferson Memorial, she started her journey as an RN at Lakeway Dermatology Associates. As Kristin was working in dermatology, she continued her education and graduated with her Master’s of Science in Nursing from Carson Newman University in 2019. She began working as a family nurse practitioner at a Newport, Tennessee primary care office in January 2020 taking care of patients of all ages of life with an array of healthcare needs.
Kristin joined HealthStar Physicians Premier Medical in February 2021 and has a special interest in pediatrics and dermatology.
Kristin has interests in kayaking, playing guitar and spending time with her family. She also loves photography and animals.
Melissa Lamb is a Family Nurse Practitioner at Healthstar Premier Medical. She originally attended Carson Newman University, in Jefferson City, Tennessee, where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing with Honors. Melissa then pursued her interest in nursing, graduating from Carson Newman University with a Master of Science in Nursing. While working as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the primary care setting, she completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at University of Tennessee Health Science Center - Memphis. Melissa is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Tennessee Nurse Practitioner Association. She enjoys the broad scope of being a Family Nurse Practitioner as it allows her the ability to care for her patients in the entire continuum of care.
Melissa is married with two children. She enjoys outdoor activities with her family.
Kristy Cutshaw, FNP- BC is a family nurse practitioner that was born and raised in Cocke County, Tennessee. She completed her undergraduate studies at Walters State community college receiving an Associates degree in nursing in 2007. After working in labor and delivery and oncology, she then went on to get her Bachelors degree from King College in 2014. While working as an RN in oncology, she went back to school and completed her Master’s in 2019 from Carson Newman University. Since graduating with her Masters, Kristy has worked in oncology and urgent care.
Kristy has a special interest oncology, dementia, and preventive medicine for all ages.
Kristy is married to Randy and they have a daughter Lindsey.
In her spare time, Kristy loves to work jigsaw puzzles, shop with her daughter, and spend time with family, friends, and her pets.
